I LOVE THIS COMBINATION. It is one of my favorite color palettes and perfect for summer. It is versatile, pairs beautifully with an array of other colors, and is gorgeous when muted. It can also be incorporated into different styles, from traditional, to modern, to eclectic.
In some studies, the psychology of the color blue stimulates right brain—or creative activity—and helps with spatial skills. It symbolizes ritual or tradition, and is known for its drama. It is also said to promote deep concentration during times of introspection and meditation. I like the thought that blue reflects great devotion and wisdom and a deep, bold hue of blue is great for evoking confidence and is associated with loyalty, trust, peace and success.
LET’S TAKE A LOOK at some great examples of the use of this beautiful hue. As the dominant color paired with white, it is clearly a dynamic space.
And as the secondary color to a white dominant, it is refreshing.

For me, the inspiration of the natural world is the major source of my work and ‘seeing blue’ in the world is one of life’s pleasures plus, great fodder for the creative eye.
